Development and Application Research on New Technology ofAir-cooled Scale Production of High Quality Phosphorus Pentoxide, a projectundertaken by Sino-Linchem International Co., Ltd and Guangxi Research Centerfor Phosphoric Chemical Engineering and Technology, was approved by Guangxi Science andTechnology Department and Fangcheng Port Science and Technology Bureau on Jan24, 2014.

A compulsive air cooling equipment was developed in thisproject, which enable high efficient production of high quality phosphorus pentoxideand the quality has been approved. An adoption of air cooling and heatexchanging sedimentation tower in this project solve the problem of phosphorus pentoxidegas cooling was too slow and output was too low. In the meanwhile, the heatrecovered can be used for the melt and transmit of yellow phosphorus and thetail gas can be used to product phosphoric acid and reduce sedimentation times.This new technology is energy-saving and cost-reducing and makes Sino-LinchemInternational a research and demonstration basis for industrialization of high qualityphosphorus pentoxide production.

The approval of this project indicates that the technologyof air-cooled production of phosphorus pentoxide, jacketed water cooling for yellowphosphorus burning and heat recovery.  Inthe future, Sino-Linchem will engage in independent innovation, continue toimprove economic benefitand become more competitive.
